Pepper Examples

This page provides examples of content inconsistencies given different block usage. On this page, both blocks use the same filter for the "Grant" news type and only a single result is expected to display.

NEW BLOCK

This block uses the new style of news listing block, utilizing an AJAX call after page load to filter and sort expected results.

This represents expected functionality and contains the list of results that should be displayed for both blocks.

OLD BLOCK

This block uses views and contextual filters to filter results at the time of rendering. 

This represents unfiltered functionality. Presently, contextual filters do not allow wildcard values. If a wildcard value is supplied, any contextual filters supplied after are not respected and no filtering takes place.

This issue is new with the recent system upgrade and previously, both lists filtered identically.
