Educator Information System goes paperless

DOE streamlines online educator credentialing

BRETTON WOODS – Speaking to the New Hampshire Association of School Principal’s Leadership Academy Program, Education Commissioner Frank Edelblut today unveiled the New Hampshire Department of Education’s upgraded educator credentialing portal, the Educator Information System (EIS). The new, paperless EIS will allow more than 27,000 educators across New Hampshire to track their credentials status online and receive digital credentials, providing faster, cheaper service.

"Ensuing that New Hampshire educators meet the requirements set by the State Board of "ion is among our primary duties," added Stephen Appleby, Administrator of the Bureau of Credentialing. "This upgrade will save time and money for the Department, and provide faster, more convenient service for New Hampshire educators."
