Digital Learning Guide now available to NH families

New resource to help students learning at home

CONCORD- The U.S. Department of Education has published a new Parent and Family Digital Learning Guide to help parents use digital tools and resources to support and assess their students learning at home. The guide outlines the benefits and challenges of remote learning, highlights the differences between synchronous and asynchronous instruction, and teaches techniques for tracking a student’s progress.

“As New Hampshire families adjust to remote and hybrid instruction, parents remain essential in supporting students, and keeping them on track,” said New Hampshire Education Commissioner Frank Edelblut. “This new Digital Learning Guide is a great tool for parents and caregivers to meet this challenge, and help New Hampshire students on paths to bright futures.”

The New Hampshire Department of Education has posted the Parent and Family Digital Learning Guide to its COVID-19 Resources webpage and at NHLearnsRemotely.com.
