Digging into Data on Student Performance

CONCORD - The New Hampshire Department of Education today announced a new 14-month partnership to help New Hampshire school districts better analyze and effectively use data to improve student performance. Demonstrated Success LLC, a Portsmouth-based educational consulting company, will team with the Department to provide support at no cost to school districts to maximize use of data to improve teaching and learning, beginning with a webinar for school personnel on Thursday, May 23.

Through regional workshops, monthly webinars, online resources, and an online discussion board, Demonstrated Success’ data coaches will help begin to build the capacity of school teams to collect, analyze, interpret, and use data more effectively to plan, differentiate, and target instruction based on student needs.

"One of our key roles at the Department of Education is providing good information for parents and school officials to use," said Education Commissioner Frank Edelblut. "iPlatform and other data sources can be powerful tools, and we want to help people use them as effectively as possible. Good data leads to better decisions and brighter futures."

A full calendar of events will be updated regularly on the Demonstrated Success website.
