

This team is responsible for improvement of student achievement through a continuous school improvement process that includes technical assistance for districts and schools as well as targeted assistance for districts identified as Districts in Need of Improvement (DINI) and schools identified as Schools in Need of Improvement (SINI). They are responsible for coordinating integrated (cross bureau) monitoring of school improvement plans.

The Office of School Standards is a component of the Bureau of Accountability. The Office of School Standards ensures that the rules (standards) promulgated by the State Board of Education for public, home schooling, and charter schools are followed, providing a foundation for all kindergarten through grade 12 students to learn and develop.
