In May 2010, the New Hampshire Department of Education joined with 11 other statewide associations to hold the 1st Annual Invitational Summit on “redefining educator development for 21st century learners.” The summit brought together 150 P12 teacher educators, state association leaders, and state policy makers to examine how best to transform P12 education and preservice and inservice educator development. Comprehensive information about the summit and the initiatives it has led it is available at www.nhsummit.org.
