Data Tools

If you are a parent, educator, policymaker or simply an interested member of our community, here is a guide to the data tools you can use to learn more about New Hampshire school performance - "A Guide to How Data Improves Student Achievement." >A Guide to How Data Improves Student Achievement, Acrobat Reader

Tools identified within this document that you can use to learn about a school's performance include:

  • The Department of Education's Web site includes School District Profiles that offer New Hampshire residents access to detailed information about their schools and communities. The School District Profiles provide school district highlights, assessment scores, pupil expenditures and graduation data.
  • The National Center for Education Statistics provides State Education Data Profiles where you can search for statewide information in elementary/secondary education, postsecondary education and selected demographics for all states in the U.S.

To report on the progress of schools and provide valuable data to help improve schools, the Department has a significant number of data collection efforts in place. The Department is currently working to streamline many of the efforts and integrate all the data collections
